Premna Serratifolia Bonsai 寿娘子

Premna serratifolia is a popular bonsai from Taiwan ROC and also commonly known as 寿娘子 'shou niang zhi' in mandarin. It has a distinctive foliage of small, dainty leaves and with beautiful white or grey trunks, creating a naturally refined look that is different from other bonsais. 

This particular bonsai is done in an "Ishisuki" Bonsai-in-Rock style, potted in a large rectangular blue pot. With trails moss creeping up the crevices between the rock and roots of the bonsai, this is a unique miniature piece that showcases a dramatic depiction of nature.
