Japanese Black Pine Kuromatsu 日本黑松

The Japanese Black Pine, or Kuromatsu bonsai is one of the most loved bonsais out there. Originating from the wild mountains of Japan, this is a hardy species with a striking appearance. It is known for its visually-appealing emerald green needle-like foliage and, most importantly, its unique tortoise-shaped bark plates, which ages beautifully and adds a sense of strength and resilience to the tree. 

This piece of Kuromatsu has healthy, bright, green foliage with a balanced, wide form. It is well established in a traditional oval pot.
