Brazilian Grape Tree 嘉宝果

This is a rare collector bonsai species, also known as the Jaboticaba. It is a beautiful evergreen tree with smooth bark that flakes off in patches, and has spots of gray and orange. 

This piece has an impressive informal upright form, slightly windswept, leaving its magnificent bark to show through. It is potted in a simple blue round pot.
