Japanese Black Pine - Kuromatsu Bonsai 日本黑松
Japanese Black Pine - Kuromatsu Bonsai 日本黑松
The Japanese Black Pine, or Kuromatsu bonsai is one of the most loved bonsais out there. Originating from the wild mountains of Japan, this is a hardy species with a striking appearance. It is known for its visually-appealing emerald green needle-like foliage and, most importantly, its unique tortoise-shaped bark plates, which ages beautifully and adds a sense of strength and resilience to the tree.
This Kuromatsu is a cute tall piece with moyogi style - the trunk curves side to side as it grows upwards, giving it a playful look. Foliage is thick and healthy to complement the vibrant look of the pine. It is potted in a traditional round brown pot.
